Bite of History Returns!
Eastside Power Women: Personal Triumphs that Changed Wichita Falls
This month we will focus on three women who bristled against the legally sanctioned segregation of their time to influence and improve living conditions for their neighbors, their city, and even their country. The legacies of Eastside champions Mrs. Zenobia Trimble, Dr. Anne Roark, and Miss Arthur Bea Williams live on today through the generations of people they taught, young and old, to appreciate the lives and contributions of other Wichitans, regardless of race, creed, or color, to make our community stronger.
