Step beyond the walls of the Museum of North Texas History and join the MNTX team for the inaugural History in Place session of Bite of History at one of North Texas’ cultural treasures – the Wichita Falls Museum of Art.

Hosted by special guest Dr. Matthew Bailey, Director and Curator of the Wichita Falls Museum of Art, this exclusive program will explore the history of WFMA before leading participants on a guided tour of its galleries. The experience culminates with a exceptional behind-the-scenes opportunity as Dr. Bailey opens the doors to the WFMA Vault, offering rare access to the museum’s secure collections storage and a glimpse at some of its most treasured works of art currently stored away from the public.

Whether you’re a history enthusiast, an art lover, or simply curious about what happens behind the scenes at a museum, this is a unique opportunity you won’t want to miss.

Bite of History will be Thursday, July 23rd. Doors open at 11:30am and presentation starts promptly at 12:00pm.

Tickets are $10 for MNTX Members and $15 for the general public. Tickets are expected to go fast, with only 20 tickets available for this month’s presentation. Tickets are available for purchase in person at the Museum or online.

NOTE: Members using Comp Tickets email Education@MNTX.org to reserve your spot!
